Sunderland have spent big this summer with 27.5m being spent on players and yet they failed to bring in an experienced striker. Well 75% of Steve Bruce's team is sorted but upfront they lack a classy striker such as your Pavlycehnko, Owen, Sturridge, Doyle. All of which they could have brought in for a small price.  A big opportunity missed. This season will be a huge test for Steve Bruce with the expectations around the Stadium of Light being raised. credit where it is due though Bruce has brought in a few good midfielders and added to the Sunderland youth. Ultimately this will be a big season for Steve Bruce.
