FC Santa Claus

Ho ho ho Merry Christmas! If you're not feeling Chritmassy just yet then fear not as I have the perfect remedy! So kick back, grab a brew and a mince pie and crack on! FC Santa Claus FC It's sounds too good to be true but yes. There is a Santa Claus FC or to pronounce their full team name "FC Santa Claus Arctic Circle". This being because the the Rovaniemi club is situated nearby to the Arctic Circle and just 835km from Helsinki. . They're a team that is rapidly growing in popularity year on year by attracting crowds of just over 2,500 per game. They currently linger in the second tier of Finnish football sitting in 3rd and have high hopes of promotion to the top tier of Finnish football. So they'll be hoping that Santa can bring a few  presents in the January transfer market. Western Sydney Wanderers

"We were called a small club yesterday – today we are the biggest in Asia" We all love a good underdog - whether it be Wales' adventure at the European Championships or Leicester winning the title after narrowly avoiding relegation the previous season. We all inevitably wanted an underdog to win at some stage. So I thought I would introduce an underdog story that symbolises why I fell in love with the game. I'll kick us off by setting the scene in New South Wales where you'll find Australia's most populous city, Sydney - a place that fascinates me. This story unravels back to 2005 where Sydney FC were leading the way for Australian Football. At the time, Football NSW (New South Wales) were seeking ways to engage more of Western Sydney as part of their efforts to continue the growth of football in Australia.
