5 Players that could help Man Utd's midfield problems

Wesley Sneijder

First up is Inter Milan and Netherlands star player Wesley Sneijder who has already been heavily linked with a big move to Manchester United however maybe his creativity and dominance on the ball may upset Wayne Rooney's role in the team. So maybe Wesley will be a big risk. No to mention the price tag that Inter Milan would demand for him. I also imagine that his wages will be exceptional amounts. Sneijder is great value for money though and probably could fit in well in Sir Alex Ferguson's set up but he may come with a price. Wesley Sniejder also has a rumoured big ego which again could upset a few players at a club like Man Utd and for sure the last thing Man Utd want is big players exiting the club.

Granit Xhaka

Few may have heard of this Swiss midfielder whose box to box skills for FC Basel have impressed me although Granit Xhaka is only young at the age of 19. This lad could potentially be a great purchase for Man Utd with Tom Cleverly and Andersen next to him. A box to box midfielder Granit Xhaka has a great engine and has impressed me in the couple of games that I have seen him in. One of which being against Man Utd. Granit Xhaka has already played for his national team of Switzerland making 6 caps and scoring just the one goal at the age of 19. Xhaka has played in the Champions League a few times showing that he can play at a great level and may be a great buy for a big team such as Man Utd.

   

Luka Modric

Another who has had a lot of speculation recently linking him with a move to Chelsea is Spurs playmaker Luka Modric. Luka has been a bright light in Tottenham's vastly improving squad with a also impressive international record. Luka Modric may be a great buy for Man Utd with his flair and creativity which may help him link up with players such as Nani and Ashley Young. He may get in the way of Wayne Rooney a bit though like Wesley Sniejder in being a dominant figure that requires to be on the ball a lot. Spurs have already come out and given a statement stating that they will not sell Modric. However I'm sure if the right money is offered then Daniel Levy will happily change his mind.





Alan Dzagoev

Dzagoev is one of the most talented players in Russia at the moment and at the age of 21 he has the potential to go on and become great. Alan Dzagoev would fit into Man Utd's team nicely with surging dynamic runs that used to be made by players such as Ryan Giggs back in his days. He also has a sharp eye for goal which may also come to Man Utd advantage. However Dzagoev may come at a price with a hefty 20m being placed on his head. A sum that maybe a team like Man Utd can afford to pay. Dzagoev currently has 100 caps and 25 goals for CSKA Moscow and is one of the best projects to come out of Russian football. With pace, eye for goal, good passing, good heading.. Alan Dzagoev seems to have the package for Man Utd.
