Aston Villa are another team who have undergone a few changes this summer and have lost key players in Young and Downing who supplied a lot of creativity to that Aston Villa side in the past. Although new gaffer Alex Mcgleish has made four in my opinion great signings. Scottish international Alan Hutton and Wigan's Charles N'Zogbia are great assets to the side but the two stand out signings for me are Tottenham's Jermaine Jenas and out of favour Man City keeper Shay Given who we know can play at a good standard and certainly Shay Given can rescue some points for Villa. In the back of Mr Mcgleish's mind I think that he knows there is great talent coming through Villa's youth this year in the shape of Mark Albrighton, Barry Bannon,Ciaron Clark and Nathan Delfouneso who all could play a pivotal part in Aston Villa's up and coming success. My only worry for Villa is that striker Darren Bent must be thinking big in the back of his mind and want to play top football for a better club with no disrespect for Villa. A solid 11th place I think would be very acceptable for Villa.
